Election 2010: return of the living dead

I got the shock of my life this morning when I watched the news and saw John Howard wheeled out from his tomb and propped up in front of a Liberal audience with Abbott.

Age and defeat (election and ICC position) hasn’t treated him kindly…he looked even more dessicated than when he was in office.

And then he spoke…a bigger torrent of vitriol, bile and flat out falsehood I have never heard in my life…at least not until Abbott opens his gob next.

He actually had the nerve to call this government and Julia Gillard failures.

After steering us through the GFC and displaying more vision for our nation’s future in 2.5 years than he did in 11, he classes this a s a failure.

I’m guessing that slashing spending to build up a useless surplus while the world burns, or rolling out the pork barrel and $5 tax cuts is his definition of “success”.

Arse-clown.

The Rodent was so fired up, and thumping the podium for effect it’s a wonder he didn’ have a stroke. He’s as nuts as Latham now.

Must be the bitter-and-twistedness that comes with getting your arse booted out.

No sign of Kevvie succumbing to the disease yet though.

Wheeling the rodent out was a stroke of genius!

I can only imagine that it was some “traitor” in the Liberal party that recommended that particular tactic.

It’s all turned to shit for the Libs since the rodent’s performance.

    Coincidence? I think not!!

It was great to see reb…yet another Abbott shotgun-to-foot moment.

It’s even scarier that he’s so deluded he thinks people are happy to see the rodent again…

There’s an overkill of delusion. He forgets he lost the election. He forgets he lost his seat. He forgets that Downer had to tell him some home truths that the party didn’t think he was fit to lead them into the 2007 election. He forgets that the majority of the electorate can’t stand Abbott.

He’s just good at forgetting. Nothing else.

Miglo, I reckon he’s just decided to blank the last 4 years of his life due to all the disappointments, espeically being kicked in the guts by his beloved cricket people.

He thinks its 2006 and he’s the KING OF THE WORLD!!!!
